The ‘Gathas‘ (verses) are the crystals of awareness that shine amidst those conversations. Dr. G. B. Harish has translated these Gathas into Kannada and presented them in this work. First Print – 2025

Pages: 108, Price: INR 120

Publisher: Savarkar Sahitya Sangha (R)

In recent years, a major conspiracy has emerged to compare Sardar Bhagat Singh and Veer Savarkar with the intent of disparaging Savarkar. There are those who argue irrationally that Savarkar wrote apology letters to the British while serving his ‘Kala Pani’ (Black Water) sentence in the Andamans. A narrative is being pushed claiming that while Bhagat Singh was a hero who courageously embraced the gallows, Savarkar was a coward. In this context, this work is an effort to objectively present the lives, ideologies, and struggles of both these patriotic revolutionaries to the readers. Along with chronicling the lives of these two great patriots, it provides a fitting rebuttal to the conspiracy aimed at creating a divide between them.

Ellarigu Bekadha Ambedkar

First Print – 2016

Pages: 114, Price: INR 150

Publisher: Sahitya Prakashana, Hubballi

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was a historian and a scholar of sociology and economics. He conducted multifaceted studies on Dalits, who are an integral part of Indian Hindu society, and through that, fought against untouchability on various levels. Consequently, perspectives on economics, nationalism, and Buddhist thought were all inherently contained within him. However, many today are unable to fully grasp Ambedkar’s vision. Even though Dr. Ambedkar moved away from Hindu Vedic religion to become a Buddhist, it was not something external to his ‘Indianness’ (Bharatiyatva). There is an immature portrayal prevalent among us that he only spoke against caste and the Varnashrama system and nothing else. In this regard, the purpose of the book ‘Ellarigu Bekada Ambedkar’ (The Ambedkar Everyone Needs), written by Dr. G.B. Harish, is to present Ambedkar’s nationalistic outlook to the younger generation. This work has been translated into Marathi and Tamil and published by Vande Matharam Publication.

Hindutva

Original Author: Savarkar

Translated By: Dr. G.B. Harisha

Print- 2018

Pages: 116, Price: INR 110

Publisher: Samrudha Sahitya

Veer Savarkar composed the verse ‘A Sindhu Sindhu Paryantam’. Future generations accepted this with reverence, as if it were an utterance found in some Upanishad, Purana, or Dharmashastra. Hindus derived their name from Sindhusthan, which is the land of the Vedas, stretching from the Sindhu (Indus) River to the Sindhu (Indian) Oceans. In his work ‘Hindutva’, Savarkar unravels layer by layer how the Hindu name, the Hindu race, and the Hindu religion are as ancient as the Rig Veda itself. Savarkar’s primary contention is that Hindutva is an extremely broad concept, and that ‘Hindu Dharma’ or ‘Sanatana Dharma’ is only a part of it.

Thought is not stagnant water; it is a continuously flowing stream. Just as life grows, time fades, and the intellect and emotions brighten, thoughts too become illuminated. Thought is not singular, but manifold. The horizons of experience are infinite, as are the paths one walks. The relationship between speech and action makes the authenticity of a thought clearly visible. Wisdom (Vicharantike) is more important than mere rationalism (Vicharavada). Dr. G. B. Harish has edited a collection of thoughts from the Eastern and Western worlds, specifically focusing on India and Greece. In this work, diverse ideas have been expressed through articles by Swami Vireshananda Saraswati, S. R. Ramaswamy, Premashekhara, Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, Dr. Nataraj Budal, Dr. Nithyananda B. Shetty, Manjunath Ajjampura, Chakravarthy Sulibele, Manjunath Kollegala, Dr. Rohinaksha Shirlalu, Dr. Appagere Somashekhara, Rohit Chakratirtha, and Vishweshwar Bhat.
